Can multiple companies be included on the same VKARD ?

When creating or editing a VKARD profile, it is important to understand how the contact card works and how it integrates information from your personal profile and your company.



🧠 Understanding how a VKARD profile works


A VKARD is a digital business card whose contact file is automatically generated from two sets of information:

  • Your personal profile (first name, last name, email, direct phone number, etc.)
  • Your company profile (company name, address, main phone number, website, etc.)


When a prospect scans your card, this data is merged to create a contact file (.vcf) that can be downloaded to their phone.



📄 What is a VCF file?


The contact card generated by your VKARD is based on a universal format: the VCF (.vcf) file.


This file can include information such as:


  • First and last name
  • Job title
  • Company name
  • Email address
  • Phone numbers
  • Postal address
  • Links (website, social networks, etc.)


👉 Important: The VCF format does not allow multiple identical fields for certain categories.

For example, only one company can be associated with a VCF contact card. Therefore, it is not possible to display two companies at the same time.



❓ Can a VKARD be linked to multiple companies?


No, a VKARD can only be linked to one company at a time, due to the technical limitations of the VCF format.


If a collaborator represents several entities, they must choose the most relevant company to display on their contact card.

However, it is always possible to switch companies at any time via the Dashboard.

🔄 Changing the company linked to a VKARD


Here’s how to link your VKARD to another company:


  1. Log in to your admin space:

  1. In the left sidebar, click on “Companies”

There you will find the list of all existing companies in your account.


  1. To add a new company, click the + New Company button in the top right corner.


  1. Fill in the required information (name, address, phone, website, etc.)



🔁 Linking a VKARD to a new company


Once your new company has been created:


  1. In the left menu, click on “My Products”
  2. Hover over the VKARD you want to modify
  3. Click on the ⚙️ icon to access the settings
  4. In the editor, select the new company in the appropriate field
  5. Save the changes


Your VKARD will now be linked to this new company.

The contact card displayed upon scanning will automatically update.
