Products Requiring Customization (Custom)

Some of our VKARD products are fully customizable (logo, colors, branding). Here is the step-by-step process:

Sending Your Customization Elements

Once your order is completed online, our team will send you a configuration link. You will be able to submit:

Your logo
||| ideally in a vector format (.svg, .ai, or .eps), or if unavailable, a high-quality version. This ensures a sharp and professional print, even in large format.
Your company colors
Your design preferences (if applicable)

Receiving the Proof (Bon à Tirer - BAT)

Within 24 hours (estimated time) after receiving your elements, you will get a proof (BAT) — a mockup of your customized design.

Production & Shipping

Once the proof is approved, production begins:

Production time: between 2 to 3 business days
Shipping via postal services
Estimated delivery time: approximately 48 hours within mainland France
For Europe, it can sometimes take 4 to 5 days.

These times are given as an indication only.

📦 Non-Custom Products

For standard products (without customization), the timelines are shorter.

Order preparation: within 24 hours max
If the order is placed before 12 PM, it is usually **shipped the same day

On average, 9 out of 10 smartphones on the market are compatible with the NFC technology used by VKARD.
This high compatibility ensures a smooth and seamless experience for most users.

Using VKARD with Your Smartphone

Depending on your phone's brand, the NFC detection zone can vary:

iPhone (Apple): Tap your VKARD near the top of the phone (close to the front-facing camera).
Other smartphones: Tap your VKARD to the back of the phone, where the NFC chip is typically located.

How to use your VKARD in digital version ?

With VKARD, you can use your profile in a 100% digital version.

Three options are available to you:

The Widget (iOS only)

The widget is the fastest way to share your information but requires dashboard access for the collaborator who wants to install it and an iPhone with the VKARD app.

||| Note that giving access to the Dashboard to your collaborators is essential to enable contact exchanges. This does not necessarily give them the ability to edit their profile unless you grant them those rights. You can invite collaborators to join the Dashboard so they can install the Widget and collect their prospects without allowing them to edit their profile.

The Shortcut (iOS and Android)

Available on iOS and Android, it does not require any app installation or Dashboard access for your collaborators. The shortcut is an excellent alternative if you don’t want to install the VKARD app, if your collaborators are on Android, or if you do not want them to have a Dashboard account.

Where can I find my invoice ?

Accepted Answer

Once your VKARD has been shipped, the corresponding invoice is automatically generated by our system. You can easily access your invoice at any time, either from your online customer area or directly via email.

Where to find your invoice online?

The invoice is available in your customer area, accessible at the following address:

Steps to access your invoice on the site:

Log in to your customer area using the email address used at the time of the order as your username.

Note: This email address may be different from the one used for your VKARD Dashboard, especially if an office manager placed the order for a colleague. Please make sure to use the correct email linked to the order.

If you forget your password, you can use the "Forgot Password" feature to reset your access.
Once logged in, look for the left-hand column in your customer area.
Click on the section where your invoices are listed to download the one corresponding to your order.

Receiving the invoice by email

Additionally, the invoice is also automatically sent to you by email, at the address you provided during the order.

To find it easily, search your mailbox for a message with the subject containing "printing invoice".

Why does Outlook freeze when opening a VCF file ?

Accepted Answer

Some versions of Microsoft Outlook may experience issues when opening a VCF (contact file). This malfunction is related to how Outlook tries to automatically process postal addresses contained in the file.

🧠 Technical Explanation

When opening a VCF file, Outlook attempts to recognize the contact’s postal address in order to automatically display a map (via Bing Maps). However, certain addresses containing ranges of street numbers cause problems.

Problematic Example:

This type of notation (using a dash to indicate a range of numbers) can cause Outlook to freeze completely while loading the file.

✅ Solution and Best Practices

To avoid this bug, here are our recommendations:

Avoid using number ranges in the address. Prefer a simplified version:
✅ 70 Dupont Street
✅ 72 Dupont Street
Or rephrase without using a dash:
✅ 70 and 72 Dupont Street
Check your VCF file before importing it into Outlook, especially if you have customized address data.

ℹ️ Please Note

This bug affects only certain versions of Outlook, mainly on Windows, and is not related to VKARD or the validity of the VCF file.

If you use Outlook and experience freezing when importing a contact, try editing the address in a text editor before retrying.
