Products Requiring Customization (Custom)

Some of our VKARD products are fully customizable (logo, colors, branding). Here is the step-by-step process:

Sending Your Customization Elements

Once your order is completed online, our team will send you a configuration link. You will be able to submit:

Your logo
||| ideally in a vector format (.svg, .ai, or .eps), or if unavailable, a high-quality version. This ensures a sharp and professional print, even in large format.
Your company colors
Your design preferences (if applicable)

Receiving the Proof (Bon à Tirer - BAT)

Within 24 hours (estimated time) after receiving your elements, you will get a proof (BAT) — a mockup of your customized design.

||| ✅ Important: You must approve the proof for your order to proceed to production.

Production & Shipping

Once the proof is approved, production begins:

Production time: between 2 to 3 business days
Shipping via postal services
Estimated delivery time: approximately 48 hours within mainland France
For Europe, it can sometimes take 4 to 5 days.

These times are given as an indication only.

📦 Non-Custom Products

For standard products (without customization), the timelines are shorter.

Order preparation: within 24 hours max
If the order is placed before 12 PM, it is usually **shipped the same day

How to use your VKARD in digital version ?

With VKARD, you can use your profile in a 100% digital version.

Three options are available to you:

The Widget (iOS only)

The widget is the fastest way to share your information but requires dashboard access for the collaborator who wants to install it and an iPhone with the VKARD app.

||| Note that giving access to the Dashboard to your collaborators is essential to enable contact exchanges. This does not necessarily give them the ability to edit their profile unless you grant them those rights. You can invite collaborators to join the Dashboard so they can install the Widget and collect their prospects without allowing them to edit their profile.

The Shortcut (iOS and Android)

Available on iOS and Android, it does not require any app installation or Dashboard access for your collaborators. The shortcut is an excellent alternative if you don’t want to install the VKARD app, if your collaborators are on Android, or if you do not want them to have a Dashboard account.

On VKARD, different types of images can be configured to customize the appearance of profiles, company space, and email signatures.
Here’s a complete guide to understand their purpose, recommended dimensions, and how to manage them efficiently.

📌 The 3 Main Image Types

1. 🖼️ Cover Photo (main banner of the profile)

The cover photo is a horizontal banner displayed at the very top of a VKARD profile.
It helps add a personalized visual identity to each user profile.

Location: Top of the VKARD profile page
Recommended dimensions: 1104 x 480 pixels
Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG
Default behavior:
If no image is defined on the profile, the one set at the company level will be used automatically.
If a cover is uploaded directly to a profile, it overrides the company-level image.

||| 💡 Tip: To maintain visual consistency across your team, set a global cover image at the company level.
That way, you won’t need to customize each profile manually.

2. 👤 Profile Picture (user identity)

The profile picture is used to represent a team member, both on their VKARD profile and their contact card.

ll VKARD products (Custom, Light, Nano, Keychain, and Desk) are equipped with an NFC chip and a QR code.

Below is a complete guide to help you use your card effectively with all types of smartphones.

🛠️ Using NFC

NFC technology allows your contact to automatically access your VKARD profile simply by bringing your card close to their smartphone.

🔩 Special case: VKARD Metal Cards

||| ⚠️ On hybrid METAL cards, the NFC signal cannot pass through metal.
👉 You must therefore always tap the QR Code side of the card against the phone.

🍎 NFC on iPhone (Apple)

For the NFC tap to work properly:

Hold the card against the iPhone for half a second.
On iPhone 13 and later, tapping can also be done near the speaker (screen side).

iPhone XS, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15: hold the card near the top of the iPhone, close to the rear camera.

Log in to your Dashboard (as an administrator)
In the left-hand menu, click on Organization Settings, then go to the Security tab.

🔧 Step 2: Set a Minimum Password Length

To strengthen password protection:

In the Minimum password length field, set a value (for example, 8 characters).
Click Save to apply the changes.

✉️ Step 3: Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a highly effective way to enhance account security.
It adds a second verification step when logging in, making unauthorized access much harder — even if a password is compromised.

A one-time security code is automatically sent to their email address.
The user must enter this code to complete the login.

Spreadsheet mode – bulk editing (premium plan)

This view lets you see your profiles and companies in a list view similar to Excel, allowing you to update all your VKARD profiles or companies on your Dashboard more quickly.

You can edit multiple profiles or companies at the same time, without having to open them one by one.

✅ Simplified Bulk Editing

For example, to update an email address or phone number on multiple rows, simply copy/paste or drag the values just like in Excel by clicking on the small black square at the bottom right of the cell.
You can also right-click and select "copy to the cell(s) below".

🔁 Quick Row Duplication

Right-click > "Duplicate row(s)": saves time when creating multiple similar entries.
Useful for creating several companies from a shared template.

➕ Column Customization

Add or hide columns depending on the information you want to display or update.

📝 Copy-paste from Excel

You can import full columns directly from Excel.
