# Temporarily disable a VKARD profile

## 🔧 How to Disable a VKARD Profile from the Dashboard

Follow the steps below to temporarily disable a VKARD profile via the Dashboard interface.

### Step 1 – Go to the **VKARDS** section

In the left-hand side menu, click on the **My Products** tab (marked with the red **1**).  
This gives you access to the list of VKARD profiles linked to your account.

### Step 2 – Open the profile settings

In the VKARDS Products list, locate the profile you want to disable.  
Then click on the **gear icon** ⚙️ (number **2**) located at the bottom right of the profile card.

### Step 3 – Disable the profile

Once inside the profile’s detailed view, go to the **Settings** tab.

Disable the profile by clicking the **"Enable Profile"** switch (number **3**).  
The switch will turn grey, indicating that the profile is now inactive.

## ℹ️ Good to know

* **Disabling is not permanent**: you can re-enable the profile at any time from the Dashboard.  
* In case of **permanent loss** or if you have **ordered a new card**, it is strongly recommended **not to link the new VKARD to the old profile**.  

In that case, we recommend **completely deleting the old profile**.
