# How to customize the preview of your VKARD profile on social media (OpenGraph tags) ?

## What is the Share Preview?

When you share your VKARD link on WhatsApp, LinkedIn, SMS, or any other channel, a **preview** (image + title + description) is automatically generated. This thumbnail relies on what are called **OpenGraph tags**, commonly used on social networks.

## 🔒 Free Plan: Default VKARD image

If you are on the free plan, the displayed image is the **generic VKARD banner**. It cannot be customized.

## 🚀 Pro Plan: Full customization

With the **Pro** plan, you have access to **customizing the image, title, and description**. The image used when sharing follows this priority order:

1. **Custom image** (uploaded in the Dashboard)  
2. **Profile cover image**  
3. **Company cover image**  
4. **Profile photo (avatar)**  
5. **Generic VKARD banner**

||| ✅ Tip: If you want full control over your share image, upload a custom image

## 🛠️ How to customize your profile preview:

1. Log in to [https://dashboard.vkard.io](https://dashboard.vkard.io)  
2. Click on the profile to edit  
3. In the left menu, select **"Share Appearance"**  
4. Click on **“Upload Image”**  
* Recommended: **1200x630px**, **JPG or PNG** format, size **< 8 MB**  
5. Edit the **title** and **description**  
6. Click **“Save”**

That’s it! 🎉 Your VKARD profile will now be professionally showcased every time you share it.
