How does the VKARD work ?

The VKARD is equipped with an electronic chip that uses NFC technology.

NFC allows the card to transmit information simply by bringing it close to a smartphone.

The card contains a small metal strip that reacts with smartphones to send data, such as a link to your profile.

There is no battery, no GPS, and no active electronic components: the card works just by contact.

When you place the card on a recipient's smartphone (top of an iPhone, back on an Android), a link will open on their phone and display your VKARD profile.

Note: On Android, NFC must be enabled in settings ("NFC & payments")

For older smartphones, a QR code is also available on the back of the VKARD.
