How does the VKARD work ?

Your VKARD card allows you to instantly share your contact details using NFC technology or via its built-in QR Code.

ll VKARD products (Custom, Light, Nano, Keychain, and Desk) are equipped with an NFC chip and a QR code.

Below is a complete guide to help you use your card effectively with all types of smartphones.

🛠️ Using NFC

NFC technology allows your contact to automatically access your VKARD profile simply by bringing your card close to their smartphone.

🔩 Special case: VKARD Metal Cards

⚠️ On hybrid METAL cards, the NFC signal cannot pass through metal.

👉 You must therefore always tap the QR Code side of the card against the phone.

🍎 NFC on iPhone (Apple)

For the NFC tap to work properly:

  • Hold the card against the iPhone for half a second.
  • On iPhone 13 and later, tapping can also be done near the speaker (screen side).

NFC sensor location by model

  • iPhone XS, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15: hold the card near the top of the iPhone, close to the rear camera.
  • iPhone 7, 8, and X:

🔸 NFC is not always active.

➜ Activate it from the Control Center using the NFC icon before tapping.

🤖 NFC on Android (Samsung, Google, Xiaomi, etc.)

On Android:

  • Hold the card against the center of the back of the phone, where the NFC sensor is usually located.
  • NFC may be disabled in the settings.

Check NFC activation

Go to:

Settings → Connections → NFC and payment

Enable the option if it is turned off.

If your contact does not want to enable NFC or has an older device, simply use the QR Code.
