# VKARD Widget (iOS & Android)

The VKARD widget allows you to share your VKARD profile directly from your phone’s home screen. Here's how to install the application, set up the widget, and use it to share your contact information.

## ✅ Prerequisite: Install the VKARD App

### Download from the App Store or Google Play Store

### On iPhone (iOS)

1. Open the **App Store** on your iPhone.
2. Search for **"VKARD"**.
3. Download and install the application.

🔄 **Minimum required version:** iOS 17

Before installing the app, make sure your iPhone is updated to iOS 17 or later by going to:

**Settings > General > Software Update**

### On Android

1. Open the **Google Play Store** on your Android smartphone.
2. Search for **"VKARD"**.
3. Download and install the application.

🔄 Make sure your device is running a version of Android that is compatible with the latest VKARD app release.

## 🧩 Add the VKARD Widget to Your Home Screen

### Adding the Widget

### On iPhone (iOS)

1. Press and hold an empty area of your home screen until the icons start to jiggle.
2. Tap the **"+"** button in the top-left corner.
3. Search for **"VKARD"**.
4. Select **VKARD** from the list of available widgets.

### On Android

1. Press and hold an empty area of your home screen.
2. Select **"Widgets"**.
3. Find **VKARD** in the list of available widgets.
4. Choose your preferred widget size.
5. Drag and drop the widget onto your home screen.

### Choosing a Widget Layout

On iPhone, two widget formats are available:

* **Square format:** Displays only the QR Code.
* **Rectangular format:** Displays your company logo, first name, and last name.

Once you have selected your preferred format, tap **"Add Widget"**.

## 👤 The Wrong Profile Is Displayed by Default?

If you manage multiple profiles, especially as an administrator, the widget may not automatically display your own profile.

### On iPhone

* Press and hold the widget for 2 seconds.
* Select **"Edit Widget"**.
* Choose the desired profile.

### On Android

* Press and hold the widget.
* Open the widget settings or configuration options.
* Select the profile you want to display.

## 🔗 How to Share Your Information Using the Widget

Once your widget is configured, you can share your contact details in two different ways:

### 📸 Using the QR Code

The widget automatically displays the **QR Code of your VKARD profile**.

* Ask your contact to scan the QR Code using their smartphone.
* They will instantly access your **personalized VKARD profile**.

### 💬 Via SMS, WhatsApp, Email, and More

You can also share your profile through your preferred messaging applications:

1. Tap the **widget**.
2. Your profile opens in the VKARD app.
3. Tap the **"Share"** button on your profile.
4. Choose your preferred sharing method: SMS, WhatsApp, Email, etc.

## 📤 Other Ways to Share Your Digital VKARD

### Option 1: Apple Wallet or Google Wallet

You can add your VKARD card to **Apple Wallet** or **Google Wallet** on both iPhone and Android devices.
