100% digital : the widget

The VKARD widget lets you share your VKARD profile directly from your phone’s home screen. Here’s how to install the app, set up the widget, and use it to share your contact info.


Note: For your collaborators to install the Widget, they need access to the Dashboard. To learn more about managing permissions and invitations, click here.



✅ Prerequisite: Installing the VKARD app


Download from the App Store



  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone.
  2. Search for "VKARD" in the search bar.
  3. Download and install the app.


🔄 Minimum required version: iOS 17

Before installing, make sure your iPhone is updated. If not, update to at least iOS 17 via Settings > General > Software Update.



🧩 Add the VKARD widget to your home screen


Adding the widget



  1. From your iPhone home screen, long press on an empty area until the icons start to wiggle.
  2. Tap the “+” button at the top left.
  3. In the search bar, type “VKARD”.
  4. Select VKARD from the results.


Choosing the widget style


Your iPhone offers two widget formats: a square one showing only the QR code, and a rectangular one showing the company logo, your first name, and last name.

Select your preferred style, then tap Add.


👤 The default profile shown isn’t the right one?


If you have multiple profiles on your account, especially as an admin, the widget might show the wrong profile by default.


To fix this:

  • Long press the widget for 2 seconds.
  • Select “Edit Widget”.
  • Assign the desired profile.



🔗 How to share info via the widget?


Once your widget is configured, you can share your info in two ways:


📸 Via the QR Code


The widget automatically displays the QR code of your profile.


  • Ask your contact to scan it with their phone.
  • They’ll instantly access your customized VKARD profile.


💬 Via SMS, WhatsApp, email, etc.


You can also share your contact info through your favorite messaging apps:


  1. Tap the widget.
  2. Your profile opens in the VKARD app.
  3. Tap the “Share” button on your profile.
  4. Choose your preferred sharing method: SMS, WhatsApp, email, etc.


📤 Other ways to share your VKARD digitally?


Option 1: Apple or Google Wallet

You can add your card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet on both Android and iOS (iPhone).
