100% digital : the shortcut

This guide explains how to create a shortcut on your home screen and how to effectively share your VKARD.


🔧 Installing the Shortcut


For your collaborators, the shortcut requires no app installation or Dashboard account.


Step 1: Access Your Profile


Case 1: You have a physical VKARD


If you already have a VKARD card, simply scan the card with your phone.

This will automatically open your digital profile in the browser.


Case 2: You don’t have a VKARD


1 - Go to your Dashboard on your smartphone (dashboard.vkard.io) and log in with your email and password.


2 - Find your profile in the list and click the eye icon on the right.


3 - Click “open profile.” This will open your profile page in your web browser.



Step 2: Add your VKARD to the Home Screen


Creating a shortcut to your profile lets you share your info even if you don’t have your VKARD with you.


On iPhone


  1. Open your VKARD profile in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button in Safari (blue button at the bottom) (⚠️ not the one inside the VKARD profile).
  3. In the menu that appears, select “Add to Home Screen”.
  4. A shortcut will be automatically added to your home screen.

→ With one tap, you can access your VKARD profile.



On Android


Depending on the browser, the method varies slightly:

đź”— How to Share Your VKARD Digitally?


Once your profile is open from the shortcut:


  1. Tap the menu at the top right of the VKARD profile.
  2. Show the QR Code displayed to your contact so they can scan and access your information.


📤 Other ways to share your VKARD digitally?


Option 1: Apple or Google Wallet

You can add your card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet on both Android and iOS (iPhone).

On iOS (iPhone), the widget is also available. Note that it requires a Dashboard account and the VKARD app installed.
